Sonja Shaw is going to make a run in 2026; endorsed by Carl Demaio and many others; Al Muratsuchi (Dem) who is currently the Assemblyman for the 66th Assembly District intends to run also; I've reviewed his voting record and it is a rubber stamp for the Democrats. He is trying to place increasing amounts of regulations on charter schools so they become more like the failed public schools.
